Biography
Spencer Nunamaker is a twenty year old student. Born in Enid, Oklahoma and currently studying at Berklee College of Music, in Boston Massachusetts. In the beginning of his college career, he studied Classical Guitar at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. After doing two years there, he realized that Classical Guitar wasn’t what he wanted to do. He focused on a new direction which led him to Berklee, where he is now studying Film Scoring. Spencer is familiar in working with many different genres of music such as Electronic, Ambient, Folk, Classical, Rock, Orchestra and Small Ensemble and is always experimenting with new sounds and genres.
As of Fall 2009, Spencer is in his 2nd semester at Berklee. He is currently enrolled in 16 credits, and he is working on music for a few up and coming iPhone games. He is also adding music to his portfolio, and hoping to find more jobs composing for anyone who may need music.
Spencer has been playing Guitar for seven years, and has played with five different bands. He’s been using programs such as Propellerheads Reason 4, Sonar, Cubase, Kontakt 3, EAST WEST Virtual Instruments, Ableton Live, for 3 years. Along with those, he is learning Digital Performer as part of his studying for Film Composing.
After completing his Bachelors Degree at Berklee, Spencer hopes to find an Internship and job gaining any experience he can Composing. He hopes to move to California, and possibly continue his studies at USC.
